This collection relates to the High Green part of the civil parish and also includes the smaller neighbourhoods of Mortomley, Newbiggin, Thorncliffe and Westwood.

The images and other material which appear on the website have been kindly donated from collections held by Chapeltown & High Green Archive (C&HGA), Ecclesfield Parish Council (EPC), Ecclesfield Conservation & Local History Group (EC&LHG), Grenoside & District Local History Group (G&DLHG), Heritage High Green (HHG), Mountcity Investments (Thorncliffe) and many individuals. The original material remains in the ownership/custodianship of those organisations and individuals.

Material must only be downloaded for personal use, and should not be edited or in any way modified; the source should be fully acknowledged. Any copies of material from the website intended for commercial or other third-party use must have the written permission of the owners before it is reproduced. Please contact Ecclesfield Parish Council in the first instance via the contacts page if there are any images you would like to use for these purposes.

The material collected ranges from a single photograph, to a commemorative brochure to a set of memorabilia relating to a particular occasion. Where possible, material is being grouped together. You can see the list of these groups by looking in the filter collections box to the right of this text.
